WSA Members

WSA members, Donors and Patrons of the Arts provide essential support that enables us to bring the best exhibitions to the Alabama community. We rely heavily on the generosity of our donors to offer awards that attract the best watercolor entries nationwide. This generosity goes beyond financial support in the forms of promoting the efforts of the Society and strengthening relationships throughout the community. By giving to WSA, you are investing in our future and allowing us to achieve our goal of enriching lives through the transformative power of art. We welcome and appreciate the financial support of all WSA members, as well as patrons of the arts in Alabama and beyond.

WSA members may contribute to the SIGNATURE and JURIED MEMBERS AWARDs, and to OTHER DONATIONS (memorial, honorary, and special awards). OTHER DONATIONS also include monetary help with WSA exhibition expenses (jurors’ fees, receptions, etc.)

Patrons of the Arts

Donors and Patrons of the arts (non-member individuals, businesses and organizations) are invited to help with monetary awards, merchandise awards, or service in kind for WSA National or Alabama Juried Exhibitions. The Society is one of the oldest major watercolor organizations in the nation and is a quality 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. Your gift is tax deductible to the extent allowable by law.

Because of the media coverage it receives from national art publications, the Society has attracted favorable notice to its commitment to excellence. One of the biggest advantages given to businesses that sponsor WSA is the increased visibility gained throughout the community and is often enhanced in the public perception. For a contribution of $50 or more, the donor’s name is acknowledged in the WSA National Annual Exhibition catalogue; name/logos/product line linked on WSA website (Sponsors Patrons) if requested. Patronage is noted in newsletters to WSA members and available to the public on WSA website.
